ECCLESTON HERITAGE CLOG is a community group whose aim is to promote and develop clog dance as a local tradition. As well as regular clog dance classes, EHC has a dance team which performs a varied programme of step dance styles and techniques:-

Lakeland hornpipes, competition hornpipes, music-hall waltzes, schottisches and ragtime steps, jigs and ‘street’ clogging.

ECCLESTON BUSKERS is for aged 5 upwards. Young people can join the group at any time and learn the skills of clog dance by progressing through an award scheme devised by the teacher, Alex Fisher. The group also has a Rapper Sword dance team.

Eccleston Heritage Clog and Eccleston Buskers perform at festivals and give presentations and displays at local events.

Further community classes are possible in Chorley town centre and West Lancashire.
